A business designed to increase the capability of its people through AI and other tools while people remain the primary actors and holders of the work. The emphasis is on making people more capable rather than handing whole duties to agents.
Example: “The studio was an augmented business: AI expanded what each designer could produce, but the designers still initiated and carried every commission.”
